Read on for the “Scandal” spoilers about Season 3 Episode 16 “The Fluffer” and find out more about the recap of last week’s episode “Scandal” Season 3 Episode 15 “Mama Said Knock You Out.”

ABC had the first dibs on the full recap of last week’s episode which was aired last March 27, 2013. “Scandal” Season 3 Episode 15 “Mama Said Knock You Out” introduced the First Children with their parents, President Fitzwilliam (Tony Goldwyn) and First Lady Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young), in their First Family TV interview.  If you’re a part of the most powerful and influential family in the U.S., then you’re in for a wild ride with this episode.

Olivia found out from the Gladiators’ investigations that the kids are not what they seem to be. Jerry Jr. (Dylan Minnette) lead an opposing online campaign against his Father in honor of his father. While looking for her mother, Karen (Madeline Carroll) and Olivia found Mellie with Fitz’ current Vice President bet and Karen’s “Uncle Andrew” (Jon Tenney). Several arguments ensued courtesy of President Fitz. Mellie is still skeptical in spilling the beans about her their failed marriage and son’s paternity to her husband. Meanwhile, Olivia got confused between her job as the presidential advisor and as Fitz’ mistress after he shouted at her.

Back at the Oval Office, Jake (Scott Foley) had a mouthful from Fitz when B6-13 got their  hands on a criminal. A furious Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) learned that Jake was responsible for his late husband’s death. He got no choice and eventually calmed down after realizing that Jake was just doing his job, just like him.

Another hostage was working with Mama Pope (Khandi Alexander) and Adnan Salif (Nazanin Boniadi). The plot continued to thicken. Adnan partly seduced and drugged Harrison (Columbus Short) into getting few important details about the President’s campaign.

“Scandal” Season 3 Episode 16 “The Fluffer” Synopsis:

According to IBTimes, things are starting to get ugly for our fixer heroine. Olivia and her team of Gladiators continue their investigation about B6-13 while Abby takes over her boss’ work at the White House.

It seems that the White House would be a wreck without Olivia semi-managing it. Her team found out that someone threw a “wrench” in the presidential campaign of Reston, Fitz’ opponent.

The show also steps away from the Fitz-Olivia tandem and focuses on another “star-crossed lovers.” Mellie got no choice but to stay away from Andrew after getting caught while her new lover tries to talk her out of it.

Quinn (Katie Lowes) feels skeptical on her relationship with Charlie after he started to ask questions about her past boyfriends. She doesn’t know if he knew about her creepy (and sloppy) make-out session with Huck (Guillermo Diaz). It seems that having member of B6-13 for a boyfriend is indeed a hard work for Baby Huck.

“Scandal” Season 3 Episode 16 “The Fluffer” is directed by Jeannot Szwarc and written by Chris Van Dusen & Raamla Mohamed. It will be aired on April 3, 2014, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
